Worcester was among the communities receiving part of $9 million in state and federal grant money for transportation improvements.
The WRTA held Public Meetings regarding proposed schedule changes to certain bus routes that would go into effect at the end of August 2016. The proposed schedule changes are to improve ridership and route productivity for certain routes and to prepare for the move to the new WRTA Maintenance and Operations facility at 42 Quinsigamond Avenue.
