New Hub Construction
On April 3, 2012, the WRTA broke ground for its 14,000 square foot transportation hub. Below is a gallery of photos of the new hub’s construction and its progress.

Site concrete has been laid down in a number of areas including the corner of Front and Foster Street and from Franklin to Foster Street. Siemens is installing a new traffic signal mast arm for the new section of Front Street that is bearing completion.

Glass is being installed on the building. Level 2 is complete (except for the operable windows which get delivered on 12/21) and will begin on Level 3 West (Foster Street side) tomorrow.
The main canopy roofing and building roofing is complete.
The canopy over the ADA ramp and stairs to the Peter Pan/Greyhound depot has been installed. Detail work will occur over the next two weeks.
Painting on the main canopy steel has begun and is starting at the south end under the green cover.

The brickwork is complete on the North Tower and up to the top of the third floor on the South Tower (even though you can’t see it under the covering.
