WORCESTER —  Less than a week since the new Worcester Regional Transit Authority hub facility opened at 60 Foster St, bus company officials are grappling with some problems with the new city bus schedules and routes.

“I certainly do apologize to the public,” said John F. Carney, general manager of RTA Transit Services, which operates the city buses. “We are working on the problems and making adjustments.”

Mr. Carney said the company has received a number of complaints, and drivers have also raised some issues with the routes.

The authority moved all downtown bus departures to the new hub June 1. The WRTA administrative office, at 287 Grove St., and the customer service center, at 317 Main St., moved to the new building. The authority’s operations office is still located at the Grove Street facility.
