New Bus Tracking System Coming Soon
This Fall, The Worcester Regional Transit Authority will be transitioning to a new technology system to support its fixed route buses, which will improve customer facing tools and internal efficiencies. The installation of the new system is slated to begin mid-October, with a completion date of January 1, 2026. As the equipment gets replaced, the current WRTA Bustracker will be taken offline. During this time, customers are encouraged to track their buses using the times outlined on the schedules or contact the Customer Service phoneline at (508) 791-9782. We apologize for the inconvenience that this may cause, but we firmly believe the new system will provide a much improved bus tracking experience. As the new technology is deployed, WRTA will provide more communication about the start date of new bus tracking options.
