WRTA CUSTOMER CAPACITY & MASK BULLETIN: Update

The current mandate for wearing masks has been extended to March 2022.  Masks are required for anyone entering inside WRTA facilities and riding on WRTA vehicles.  Failure to comply will result in removal from the property.  
Updated 6-18-21
Based on current guidelines for the re-opening of Massachusetts and social distancing, effective June 5, 2021 WRTA buses will rescind the current capacity restrictions and return to full capacity boarding, with seating returning to pre-pandemic levels. Front boarding and exiting will be resumed along with rear exiting.  Paratransit service will resume shared ride service.
While on WRTA vehicles, Hub Platform and Facilities the federal mask mandate requiring masks on public transportation is still in effect and you are required to wear a mask whether or not you have been vaccinated.

Effective 6-18-21 masks are not required in outside open air settings on the platform or property; however per the current mandate masks are required for anyone entering inside WRTA facilities and riding on WRTA vehicles.  Failure to comply will result in removal from the property.
