WORCESTER REGIONAL TRANSIT AUTHORITY

DBE GOAL

Notice is hereby given that the Worcester Regional Transit Authority (WRTA) has proposed a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Participation Goal in accordance with U.S. Department of Transportation Regulations at 49 CFR Part 26.

WRTA’s proposed goal for the DBE Participation for Federal Fiscal Years 2021 – 2023 shall be one point twenty-two (1.22) percent of funds expended in U.S. Department of Transportation assisted contracts.

The proposed goal and description of the methodology used to determine the proposed goal are available for inspection upon request to the WRTA DBE Liaison. The proposed goal will be available for thirty (30) days following the date of publication of this notice. WRTA will accept comments on its proposed goal for thirty (30) days from the date of publication of this notice. Comments may be sent to the WRTA or the Federal Transit Administration at the following addresses.

WRTA conducted a DBE Virtual Open House regarding our submission to the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) for our proposed Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Triennial Goal for Federal Fiscal Years 2021 through 2023.
