Worcester Regional Transit Authority Open Meeting Notice for the Public. The WRTA Advisory Board met on Thursday, January  19, 2023, at 8:30 a.m. to be held via webinar on Zoom due to the Governor’s extension (pandemic-era policies) for remote public meetings.  Agenda: 

Chairperson –  What progress is being made and what are our short-term plans to: Upgrade damaged and missing bus stop signage? Improve reliability of service especially in terms of driver absences and shortcomings in our Bus Tracker system?  Better publicize that the WRTA fixed route and paratransit services are fare free? Let our riders and the public know, on a daily basis, of various updates and improvements that the WRTA makes?  Begin holding hybrid Advisory Board meetings – in person and virtual – starting in February?  Business from Personnel Committee – Chairperson. Report on the meeting January 6, 2023 which met in Executive Session for the purpose of review and discussions on Administrator’s contract and search firms for hiring an Administrator. Business from Advisory Board Vice-Chairperson. Brief Report by Vice-Chairperson Belanger on the City of Worcester’s Public Service and Transportation Committee meeting, on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 5 p.m. in the Levi Lincoln (North) Chamber. Administrators Reports: Service Changes due to Shortages, Brief on City Council Committee Meeting January 5, 2023.
