WORCESTER — The Worcester Regional Transit Authority is slowly making progress on its development plan for a new Quinsigamond Avenue garage for its fleet of buses and vans.
“We’ve been planning this forever,” said Dennis J. Lipka, a WRTA board member from Holden, during an advisory board meeting Thursday morning. “I can smell the earth work and concrete piles.”
The plans are expected to be completed in mid- to late summer, said Anthony J. Diluzio, vice president of CDR Maguire, which has been hired to manage the project.
There will be a neighborhood meeting in the next few weeks to further discuss plans for the site, WRTA Administrator Stephen F. O’Neil said.
