NORTHBRIDGE — Ridership on the Worcester Regional Transit Authority buses is up substantially since the service began at the beginning of the year.

Town Manager Theodore D. Kozak told selectmen Monday that according to the Central Massachusetts Regional Planning Commission, ridership on the two routes has increased fivefold.
