WRTA Solar Monitoring System
The WRTA is pleased to announce that the Solar Panel Monitoring System is now available for public viewing. To date, since being implemented in late July, the Solar Panels have generated over 12 MegaWatts of Electricity that is helping to offset the cost of electricity for the agency by thousands of dollars. With a mixed fleet of Hybrid and All-Electric buses, using Solar Panels is just another way the WRTA is among transit industry leaders in Green Technology.
