WRTA advisory board adds Luz Vega as rider rep

WORCESTER — Luz Vega was sworn in Thursday as the newest member of the Worcester Regional Transit Authority advisory board.
She is one of four women on the 18-member board. Rather than being a representative of a specific town, her job is to stand for the “rider community population.”
Ms. Vega said she does not regularly take the bus, but has family and close associates who do and tell her about their experiences.
