Even before its move to its new hub adjacent to Union Station last year, we gave generally high marks to the Worcester Regional Transit Authority. Since its move to the new $16.3 million facility, we believe that overall service has taken additional steps forward.
Of course, moving thousands of people a day around Worcester’s serpentine geography — as well as to numerous neighboring communities — is no easy task. And all it takes is a single accident at a critical intersection, or a few inches of snow or few buckets of rain, to threaten multiple routes with chaos and delays.
